Plamen Budinov guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 24th minute, Veliko Karaburov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Veliko Karaburov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pastra's Evstati Dodov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mladen Harlanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Evstati Dodov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Pastra's Vancho Davitkov got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Evstati Dodov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Dzhakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Pastra getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vancho Davitkov hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Mladen Harlanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boykovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mladen Harlanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Plamen Budinov was a little too slow when Angel Ubinov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 45th minute, Tzvyatko Drenkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyko Kiranov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Plamen Budinov firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Angel Ubinov made the kick off in the second half. Veliko Karaburov struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Evstati Dodov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boykovo. In the 55th minute Veliko Karaburov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evstati Dodov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Ubinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Plamen Budinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
