The supporters of CSKA Zwetkowzi booed when Zwetewo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirolyub Donov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes, Nayden Kalpakchiev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSKA Zwetkowzi and the Zwetewo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, CSKA Zwetkowzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nayden Kalpakchiev to maneuver through the defense. Presiyan Sirenyakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzeko Popyordanov having to interfere. Tzeko Popyordanov made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Trayko Gorolov sent off a good shot on target. Presiyan Sirenyakov struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Tzeko Popyordanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zwetewo. In the 21st minute, Svetlan Andonov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zhivko Yolovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vanyo Shekerdzhiev struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Zhivko Yolovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Zwetkowzi. Viktor Dzhunakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhivko Yolovski having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Presiyan Sirenyakov to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Trayko Gorolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzeko Popyordanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalin Geshev charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kalin Geshev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zwetewo getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kalin Geshev hit a great ball. Zwetewo's Zhivko Yolovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vanyo Shekerdzhiev in the 58th minute of play. When Trayko Gorolov came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Zwetewo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trayko Gorolov couldn't finish the play. With his leg Zhivko Yolovski managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when CSKA Zwetkowzi's Viktor Dzhunakov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vanyo Shekerdzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zhivko Yolovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zwetewo's goalkeeper Zhivko Yolovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Viktor Dzhunakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Zwetewo's Kuzman Tinkov got a free kick in the 87th minute. Tzeko Popyordanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitko Chernaev in the 91st minute of play. Vanyo Shekerdzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, CSKA Zwetkowzi failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
