After a defensive mix-up in Vedrina's zone, Tencho Tetikov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stoyne Lyubomirov came out of the goal and Tencho Tetikov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Tencho Tetikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoyne Lyubomirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vedrina getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Simeon Dashov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panayot Kremenski in the 26th minute of play forced Vedrina's goalkeeper Stoyne Lyubomirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ilko Kalúchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tencho Tetikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stoyne Lyubomirov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panayot Kremenski in the 41st minute of play forced Vedrina's goalkeeper Stoyne Lyubomirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denislav Ruev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Panayot Kremenski struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Stoyne Lyubomirov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Irinets. 61 minutes into the game, Yancho Dabizhev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Irinets's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vedrina the free kick. Yancho Dabizhev kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dimo Shoshorov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilko Kalúchev's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Denislav Ruev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute of the match, Panayot Kremenski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stoyne Lyubomirov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ilko Kalúchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, FC Irinets's goal looked a bit too open when Ilko Kalúchev came free, but Dimo Shoshorov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyubcho Hadzhiyankov kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Ilko Kalúchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimo Shoshorov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veliko Dzhermanski during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, FC Irinets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veliko Dzhermanski to maneuver through the defense. If Denislav Ruev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stoyne Lyubomirov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panayot Kremenski in the 84th minute of the match. When Tencho Tetikov came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC Irinets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tencho Tetikov couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
