After a defensive mix-up in Starovo's zone, Doychin Ginkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krasimir Nachov came out of the goal and Doychin Ginkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Krasimir Nachov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apostol Savelev's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 23rd minute, Apostol Savelev made a precise shot to the right of Krasimir Nachov. Starovo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Doychin Ginkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yanislav Asov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ognyan Vrúblyanski's late challenge caught a Starovo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ognyan Vrúblyanski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Stoikovtsu getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ognyan Vrúblyanski hit a great ball. Stoimen Sprostranov made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Trayko Karapandzhiev sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Starovo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC Stoikovtsu a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Momchil Mantovski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Starovo's Krasimir Nachov. 0-2. Trayko Karapandzhiev had several of the FC Stoikovtsu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Stoimen Sprostranov as he didn't even see the shot coming.

52 minutes into the game, Rafail Poshtakov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Starovo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Stoikovtsu the free kick. Rafail Poshtakov hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Stoikovtsu's Momchil Mantovski got a free kick in the 57th minute. Svetlan Yanin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Stoimen Sprostranov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Svetlan Yanin made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Stoikovtsu's Stoimen Sprostranov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Stoikovtsu booed when Starovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanislav Asov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Starovo's Serafim Tzakov got a free kick in the 76th minute. Doychin Ginkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Stoimen Sprostranov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trayko Karapandzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trayko Karapandzhiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stoimen Sprostranov having to interfere. The supporters of Starovo booed when FC Stoikovtsu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Plamen Neychev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Starovo got a freekick which was hit by Rumen Vichev.
