FC Stoikovtsu's Stoimen Sprostranov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzvetelin Vakarelov in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Baltadzii booed when FC Stoikovtsu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Momchil Mantovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lilcho Sirenyakov came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Baltadzii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lilcho Sirenyakov couldn't finish the play. Doychin Ginkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Zlatko Komsiyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Baltadzii's goal looked a bit too open when Apostol Savelev came free, but Zlatko Komsiyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Tzvetelin Vakarelov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baltadzii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tzvetelin Vakarelov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Delyan Argirov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stoimen Sprostranov was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tzvetelin Vakarelov made a kick off. Doychin Ginkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zlatko Komsiyski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doychin Ginkov ran back to his position shaking his head. If Apostol Savelev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
