In the 16th minute Darin Karadzhov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andon Sergiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Darin Karadzhov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apostol Perev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Stoil Ilchov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes FC Popiza got a freekick which was hit by Valeri Koychev. After having played for 30 minutes, Krasen Dimkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Okhlanlii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krasen Dimkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Valeri Koychev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Popiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeri Koychev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andon Sergiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Valkan Demirev from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Andon Sergiev's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 38th minute Krasen Dimkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoil Ilchov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes FC Popiza got a freekick which was hit by Tenyo Ganchovski. Darin Karadzhov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Pencho Minkov's late challenge caught a CSKA Okhlanlii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pencho Minkov helped the player get up and apologised. Pencho Minkov kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Krasen Dimkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stoil Ilchov having to interfere. FC Popiza's Stoil Ilchov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krasen Dimkov in the 95th minute of play. Apostol Perev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
