The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute, Vihar Velchev fired away a shot on goal. Khadzhiitye's Toni Tzikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Buyukliyski in the 27th minute of play. Toni Tzikov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergey Hvúrlev in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Karamluk's goalkeeper Simo Markovski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rostislav Balyuchev. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vihar Velchev made a kick off. Asen Bakúrdzhiev's late challenge caught a Khadzhiitye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asen Bakúrdzhiev helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Khadzhiitye booed when Karamluk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asen Bakúrdzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simo Markovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vihar Velchev in the 55th minute of play. Khadzhiitye's Rostislav Balyuchev got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khadzhiitye's Toni Tzikov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Khadzhiitye from getting a goal against them. In the 68th match minute, Khadzhiitye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gergin Borisov to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes in the game, Sergey Hvúrlev dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, Khadzhiitye's Rayko Nolev got a free kick in the 70th minute. Simo Markovski came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Khadzhiitye's Vihar Velchev. But to his dismay, Vihar Velchev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A hard shot 80 in the game by Severin Buyukliyski from a close distance when the talented Toni Tzikov managed to make a qualified save. Khadzhiitye's players were relieved. Miho Karastoyanov charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miho Karastoyanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Khadzhiitye getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Miho Karastoyanov hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Sergey Hvúrlev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toni Tzikov. The goal made the score 1-2. Severin Buyukliyski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toni Tzikov having to interfere. Rostislav Balyuchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vihar Velchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Karamluk's goal looked a bit too open when Rostislav Balyuchev came free, but Simo Markovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Severin Buyukliyski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severin Buyukliyski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
