In the 15th minute Tinko Oklev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omurtag Fezliyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geno Balchev's late challenge caught a FC Tvardica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geno Balchev helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Tvardica booed when Sredkovets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geno Balchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stoyadin Kertev came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sredkovets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stoyadin Kertev couldn't finish the play. If Tinko Oklev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Tinko Oklev notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sredkovets's Omurtag Fezliyski. Omurtag Fezliyski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, FC Tvardica's goal looked a bit too open when Stoyadin Kertev came free, but Velko Andreevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Tvardica booed when Sredkovets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stancho Petrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Violet Kratunkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Ignat Totzev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sredkovets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignat Totzev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignat Totzev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velko Andreevski having to interfere. After the first half FC Tvardica were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Velko Andreevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignat Totzev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sredkovets's zone, Violet Kratunkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omurtag Fezliyski came out of the goal and Violet Kratunkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sredkovets's Omurtag Fezliyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tinko Oklev in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Tvardica defense, Stoyadin Kertev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Velko Andreevski. The FC Tvardica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Velko Andreevski should have stopped the shot. Tinko Oklev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omurtag Fezliyski having to interfere. Sredkovets's Omurtag Fezliyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tinko Oklev in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes of play Sredkovets's Geno Balchev was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Geno Balchev hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Tvardica's Antoan Vitov got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes, Marko Nozharov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Tvardica and the Sredkovets players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes FC Tvardica got a freekick which was hit by Marko Nozharov. After 91 played minutes, Sredkovets's Preslav Popvasilev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Velko Andreevski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sredkovets reached it.
