The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chavei's Boycho Busarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Chavei from getting a goal against them. Adalbert Gaydov charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalbert Gaydov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chavei getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adalbert Gaydov hit a great ball. If Iliyan Pampulov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10thth minute of the game Iliyan Pampulov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chavei's Boycho Busarov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boycho Busarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iliyan Pampulov, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ginyo Gulabchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bocho Sarafski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Totyo Danailov in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Totyo Danailov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bocho Sarafski was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Totyo Danailov in the 23rd minute of play forced CSKA Zimornitsa's goalkeeper Bocho Sarafski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Chavei's goal looked a bit too open when Iliyan Pampulov came free, but Boycho Busarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chavei's Avgust Buhov got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chavei's Adalbert Gaydov got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Adalbert Gaydov off the ground. Adalbert Gaydov hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Iliyan Pampulov made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iliyan Pampulov in the 53rd minute of play forced Chavei's goalkeeper Boycho Busarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Chavei's goal looked a bit too open when Iliyan Pampulov came free, but Boycho Busarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bocho Sarafski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Boycho Busarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iliyan Pampulov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chavei's Totyo Danailov got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valko Kyurkchiyski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
