Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Obretkovtsi's Nano Grashev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nano Grashev in the 4th minute of play forced CSKA Papretlevo's goalkeeper Volodya Gergovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zhan Kumchev came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Obretkovtsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhan Kumchev couldn't finish the play. If Lyudmil Kochmarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, CSKA Papretlevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vanko Gugov to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes CSKA Papretlevo got a freekick which was hit by Geno Tzelov. Simeon Penov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Yotzev's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Ivo Kerelski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simeon Penov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanislav Pandov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Yotzev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simeon Penov having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Obretkovtsi's zone, Alexander Yotzev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simeon Penov came out of the goal and Alexander Yotzev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geno Tzelov during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Obretkovtsi booed when CSKA Papretlevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geno Tzelov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nano Grashev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Alexander Yotzev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Obretkovtsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Kerelski to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Yotzev was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nano Grashev in the 53rd minute of play forced CSKA Papretlevo's goalkeeper Volodya Gergovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yanislav Pandov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simeon Penov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Simeon Penov made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Yanislav Pandov sent off a good shot on target. Yanislav Pandov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CSKA Papretlevo's Svetoslav Stamboliev got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nano Grashev in the 71st minute of play forced CSKA Papretlevo's goalkeeper Volodya Gergovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nano Grashev in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volodya Gergovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Obretkovtsi's Simeon Penov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Obretkovtsi from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Alexander Yotzev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simeon Penov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Nano Grashev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volodya Gergovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Obretkovtsi's goalkeeper Simeon Penov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yanislav Pandov. Simeon Penov came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by CSKA Papretlevo's Yanislav Pandov. But to his dismay, Yanislav Pandov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 90 minutes into the game, Vanko Gugov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Papretlevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obretkovtsi the free kick. Vanko Gugov hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Geno Tzelov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Obretkovtsi's Zhan Kumchev got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Venelin Muratovski fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obretkovtsi's protests and gave Venelin Muratovski a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Obretkovtsi got a freekick which was hit by Venelin Muratovski. 99 minutes into the match, CSKA Papretlevo's Yanislav Pandov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simeon Penov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The CSKA Papretlevo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSKA Papretlevo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
