When Zhan Kumchev came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Obretkovtsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhan Kumchev couldn't finish the play. Tipcinica's Venelin Egorov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nano Grashev in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ilcho Lulchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nano Grashev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zhan Kumchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simeon Penov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Simeon Penov made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Velimir Karakachanov sent off a good shot on target. Tipcinica's Venelin Egorov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nano Grashev in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Damyan Krunev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tipcinica's supporters rose to their feet, but Damyan Krunev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simeon Penov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Obretkovtsi getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Venelin Muratovski hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Tipcinica's Damyan Krunev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simeon Penov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tipcinica's Venelin Egorov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nano Grashev in the 29th minute of play. Velimir Karakachanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Simeon Penov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parvan Krushovski charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Parvan Krushovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zhan Kumchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bone Monchev fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tipcinica's protests and gave Bone Monchev a yellow card for diving instead. Bone Monchev hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Obretkovtsi's Ivo Kerelski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

During the 51st minute of the match Venelin Muratovski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Venelin Muratovski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 51 played minutes Obretkovtsi got a freekick which was hit by Venelin Muratovski. Simeon Penov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damyan Krunev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venelin Egorov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lyudmil Kochmarov in the 55th minute. Zhan Kumchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venelin Egorov having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Obretkovtsi's Zhan Kumchev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venelin Egorov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Obretkovtsi's goal looked a bit too open when Velimir Karakachanov came free, but Simeon Penov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zhan Kumchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damyan Krunev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simeon Penov having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Nano Grashev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obretkovtsi and the Tipcinica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nano Grashev kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Damyan Krunev managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of Obretkovtsi booed when Tipcinica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bone Monchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhan Kumchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Obretkovtsi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
