If Prodan Gerinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grci's goalkeeper Genadi Gerginov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prodan Gerinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genadi Gerginov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prodan Gerinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes CSKA Tospatlar got a freekick which was hit by Denimir Beyazov. Fotyo Runevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Mihail Zagarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Prodan Gerinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Tospatlar's supporters rose to their feet, but Prodan Gerinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genadi Gerginov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 39th minute of the match Denimir Beyazov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Denimir Beyazov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tervel Prúchkov struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ivan Vútev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grci. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Zlatev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Vútev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tervel Prúchkov's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. CSKA Tospatlar's Ivan Vútev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Zlatev in the 55th minute of play. Prodan Gerinski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Genadi Gerginov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Grci's Genadi Gerginov got control of the ball when Prodan Gerinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Prodan Gerinski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 63 played minutes Grci got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Zagarov. The supporters of Grci booed when CSKA Tospatlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omurtag Gúrgorov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grci's Vangel Vúglarov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CSKA Tospatlar. Tervel Prúchkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tervel Prúchkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ivan Vútev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CSKA Tospatlar's Ivan Vútev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Zlatev in the 72nd minute of play. Ivan Vútev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tervel Prúchkov in the 81st minute of the match. Martin Zlatev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Velizar Monchev's late challenge caught a CSKA Tospatlar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Velizar Monchev helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Grci got a freekick which was hit by Velizar Monchev. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
