The audience thought a goal was coming when Parvan Pchelarov got free with Genadi Gerginov in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genadi Gerginov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Parvan Pchelarov in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tervel Prúchkov in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evgeni Kindekov saved CSKA Veleshani from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Bilyan Rumenov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Zlatev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evgeni Kindekov having to interfere. Prodan Gushev kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, CSKA Veleshani's Dido Vitanov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Genadi Gerginov. Genadi Gerginov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Grci:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CSKA Veleshani:s goal. The goalkeeper, Genadi Gerginov, was totally fooled by CSKA Veleshani's Bilyan Rumenov, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With his leg Genadi Gerginov managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when CSKA Veleshani's Parvan Pchelarov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Dido Vitanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parvan Pchelarov in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Genadi Gerginov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dido Vitanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genadi Gerginov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Veleshani's zone, Tervel Prúchkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evgeni Kindekov came out of the goal and Tervel Prúchkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Zlatev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Mihail Zagarov fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grci's protests and gave Mihail Zagarov a yellow card for diving instead. Mihail Zagarov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Mihail Zagarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dido Vitanov struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Genadi Gerginov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Veleshani. Evgeni Kindekov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, CSKA Veleshani's goalkeeper Evgeni Kindekov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tervel Prúchkov. Evgeni Kindekov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Zlatev in the 82nd minute of play.
