Plamen Kúlvachev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Presiyan Kyutev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Spiro Pechovski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSKA Konus and the CSKA Kasaplii players grew even worse after the yellow card. Spiro Pechovski hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Yordan Pranchev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Spiro Cheresharov skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Lilcho Chardakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Konus's supporters rose to their feet, but Lilcho Chardakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Presiyan Kyutev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Kasaplii's zone, Plamen Kúlvachev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Presiyan Kyutev came out of the goal and Plamen Kúlvachev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neycho Zaimov in the 18th minute of play forced CSKA Konus's goalkeeper Spiro Cheresharov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lilcho Chardakov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CSKA Kasaplii's Presiyan Kyutev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilcho Chardakov in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Neycho Zaimov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Spiro Cheresharov was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Nedyalko Cholchev charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nedyalko Cholchev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nedyalko Cholchev kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. CSKA Konus's Lilcho Chardakov got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Spiro Cheresharov was a little too slow when Dimcho Tarashoev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Plamen Kúlvachev in the 93rd minute of play forced CSKA Kasaplii's goalkeeper Presiyan Kyutev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes, Lilcho Chardakov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSKA Konus and the CSKA Kasaplii players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neycho Zaimov in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Spiro Cheresharov saved CSKA Konus from getting behind.
