A hard shot by Dobri Karushkov from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Simo Hayverov's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Zlatan Vardzhiyski hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes, FC Murgazli's Trendafil Hristakiev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marian Shabanov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Murgazli reached it. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kolarovo's zone, Severin Múzhkarov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Shabanov came out of the goal and Severin Múzhkarov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velko Búrzin struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Marian Shabanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Murgazli. After 18 played minutes FC Kolarovo got a freekick which was hit by Varban Maymarov. If Milko Latinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Murgazli's zone, Sokol Bikovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simo Hayverov came out of the goal and Sokol Bikovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, FC Kolarovo's Dobri Karushkov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Simo Hayverov. Velko Búrzin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Shabanov having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Sokol Bikovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milko Latinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simo Hayverov having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sokol Bikovski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Kolarovo's Marian Shabanov got control of the ball when Velko Búrzin tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Murgazli's Velko Búrzin got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Velko Búrzin managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Murgazli's supporters rose to their feet, but Velko Búrzin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Shabanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, FC Kolarovo's goal looked a bit too open when Severin Múzhkarov came free, but Marian Shabanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milko Latinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simo Hayverov having to interfere. Milko Latinov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Murgazli's Avgust Smilenov got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Severin Múzhkarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Velko Búrzin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Milko Latinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simo Hayverov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sokol Bikovski in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simo Hayverov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Velko Búrzin scored 2-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Shabanov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
