Boyan Bisharov might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafim Kadúnkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boyan Bisharov ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Rakitniza's Geno Adzharov got a free kick in the 6th minute. Boyan Bisharov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim Kadúnkov having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Rakitniza got a freekick which was hit by Evgeni Kanelov. Stiliyan Dashinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Rakitniza's Vitko Marinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Mitrov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ikonom Hadzhiangelov in the 33rd minute of play forced Batin's goalkeeper Mario Mitrov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Kadúnkov had great luck who in the 37thth minute grab hold of the ball when Boyan Bisharov from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Rakitniza's Encho Hadzhiivanov got a free kick in the 44th minute. Serafim Kadúnkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyan Bisharov in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitko Marinski to strike the kick off in the second half. Stiliyan Dashinov might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafim Kadúnkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stiliyan Dashinov ran back to his position shaking his head. After 52 played minutes Rakitniza got a freekick which was hit by Iliyan Belezhkov. Encho Hadzhiivanov hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Stiliyan Dashinov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stiliyan Dashinov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyan Bisharov in the 70th minute of play forced Rakitniza's goalkeeper Serafim Kadúnkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Stiliyan Dashinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Kadúnkov was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Stiliyan Dashinov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafim Kadúnkov. Rakitniza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stiliyan Dashinov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rakitniza's Serafim Kadúnkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stiliyan Dashinov in the 84th minute of play. Konstantin Virchev hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rakitniza's zone, Boyan Bisharov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim Kadúnkov came out of the goal and Boyan Bisharov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Boyan Bisharov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Batin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
