Trave's Stoyko Vlaykovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petyo Karaangov in the 4th minute of play. Venko Karapetkov struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Bozhin Vrechkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trave. Donyo Leyarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stoyko Vlaykovski having to interfere. In the 20th minute, FC Starinsko's Petyo Karaangov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Ruslan Strelkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donyo Leyarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Stoyko Vlaykovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bozhin Vrechkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyko Karagyulev, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Venko Karapetkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evtim Golomehov hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Petyo Karaangov got in the 37th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Stoyko Vlaykovski handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Trave's goal looked a bit too open when Petyo Karaangov came free, but Stoyko Vlaykovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Venko Karapetkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bozhin Vrechkov was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. If Boyko Karagyulev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trave's Boyko Karagyulev got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donyo Leyarski in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stoyko Vlaykovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petyo Karaangov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stoyko Vlaykovski having to interfere. If Donyo Leyarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Venko Karapetkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bozhin Vrechkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boyko Karagyulev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bozhin Vrechkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Petyo Karaangov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
