When Malin Bozhkov fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blazhievo's protests and gave Malin Bozhkov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Ботев booed when Blazhievo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malin Bozhkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bozhin Mavrodinov struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Tzoko Lyutov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ботев. In the 13thth minute of the game Pavel Súlov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blazhievo's Tzoko Lyutov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tenyo Lozanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tzoko Lyutov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Yanaki Gorbanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spiridon Tzekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ботев's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tenyo Lozanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Blazhievo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalin Svilenski to maneuver through the defense. Tzoko Lyutov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzonko Dechkov in the 37th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Súlov in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tzoko Lyutov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tenyo Lozanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. When the referee ended the match the FC Ботев players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
