Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexey Tihomirov started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexey Tihomirov during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Sanovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexey Tihomirov to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sanovo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pancho Dzhongov hit a great ball. João Paulo Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gencho Sokerov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Paulo Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Gencho Sokerov managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Albanzi's João Paulo Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 14 minutes into the game, Arhangel Doykin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanovo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albanzi the free kick. Arhangel Doykin kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Gabriel Maldzyiev came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Albanzi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Maldzyiev couldn't finish the play. Sanovo's Gencho Sokerov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filcho Kunev in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Sanovo got a freekick which was hit by Stoil Roshkov. The Albanzi fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Albanzi's João Paulo Almeida looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute Subin Yovev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delcho Dangov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, João Paulo Almeida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gencho Sokerov. The goal made the score 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when João Paulo Almeida made the kick off in the second half. Albanzi's Franky Van de Wal got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54th play minutes João Paulo Almeida shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Gencho Sokerov and just under the crossbar into goal. Sanovo's Gencho Sokerov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franky Van de Wal in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that João Paulo Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gencho Sokerov was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Stoil Roshkov hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gencho Sokerov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Paulo Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albanzi's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gencho Sokerov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filcho Kunev in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sanovo's zone, Filcho Kunev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gencho Sokerov came out of the goal and Filcho Kunev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo Almeida in the 82nd minute of play forced Sanovo's goalkeeper Gencho Sokerov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Albanzi's João Paulo Almeida in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sanovo's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Paulo Almeida in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gencho Sokerov saved Sanovo from getting behind. After having played for 96 minutes, João Paulo Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
