The tension between the Knesowo and the Seslav players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vihar Penushliev came out of the goal and Antim Mavrikov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Antim Mavrikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seslav's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antim Mavrikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vihar Penushliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antim Mavrikov in the 31st minute of play. When Tzeko Karadimov fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seslav's protests and gave Tzeko Karadimov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Seslav's Tzeko Karadimov got a free kick in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geno Goranov during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Seslav getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Geno Goranov hit a great ball. Velichko Paliev struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Galabin Ivkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knesowo. 44 minutes into the match, Seslav's goalkeeper Galabin Ivkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Velichko Paliev. Galabin Ivkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rangel Shirkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Bozhko Konovski put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vihar Penushliev.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Antim Mavrikov got free with Vihar Penushliev in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
