Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dragomir Kotevski took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zhivko Aydarov hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sofia City's Delcho Kraevski got a free kick in the 7th minute. The nice shot from Tzonyo Vúrbenov in the 8thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Simeon Kabakov had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Simeon Kabakov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragomir Kotevski's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. CSKA Zhelud's Pencho Súlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slaveyko Lyubomirov in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Sofia City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slaveyko Lyubomirov to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Sofia City's goalkeeper Simeon Kabakov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tzonyo Vúrbenov. Slaveyko Lyubomirov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pencho Súlev having to interfere. When Botyo Krústanov fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sofia City's protests and gave Botyo Krústanov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CSKA Zhelud booed when Sofia City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Botyo Krústanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simeon Kabakov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dragan Gutzev. After 34 played minutes Sofia City got a freekick which was hit by Temelko Severov. Simeon Kabakov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dragan Gutzev. After 41 played minutes CSKA Zhelud got a freekick which was hit by Tzeno Teofilov. 48 minutes into the game, Tzeno Teofilov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Zhelud's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sofia City the free kick. Tzeno Teofilov hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

54 minutes into the game, Stayko Monov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Zhelud's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sofia City the free kick. Stayko Monov hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Slaveyko Lyubomirov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slaveyko Lyubomirov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pencho Súlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Zhelud's zone, Zhivko Aydarov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pencho Súlev came out of the goal and Zhivko Aydarov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zhivko Aydarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pencho Súlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Slaveyko Lyubomirov got free with Pencho Súlev in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slaveyko Lyubomirov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Pencho Súlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stayko Monov struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Simeon Kabakov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Zhelud. The crowd rose to their feet as Sofia City's Slaveyko Lyubomirov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pencho Súlev. That made the score 0-1 after 73 minutes of play. 77 minutes into the match, Sofia City's Slaveyko Lyubomirov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pencho Súlev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pencho Súlev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Slaveyko Lyubomirov in the 82nd minute. Temelko Severov struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Pencho Súlev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sofia City. Tzonyo Vúrbenov scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simeon Kabakov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Slaveyko Lyubomirov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Slaveyko Lyubomirov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pencho Súlev having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, CSKA Zhelud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stayko Monov to maneuver through the defense. When Slaveyko Lyubomirov came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sofia City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slaveyko Lyubomirov couldn't finish the play. Slaveyko Lyubomirov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Sofia City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
