Tzeno Teofilov's late challenge caught a FC Stanyantsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tzeno Teofilov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CSKA Zhelud's Tzonyo Vúrbenov got a free kick in the 5th minute. Pencho Súlev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trayan Sitarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trayan Sitarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pencho Súlev having to interfere. When Trayan Sitarski came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Stanyantsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trayan Sitarski couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, CSKA Zhelud's goalkeeper Pencho Súlev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rostislav Túnkov. CSKA Zhelud's Tzonyo Vúrbenov got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naum Todorovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragomir Kotevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dragomir Kotevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tzonyo Vúrbenov in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naum Todorovski saved FC Stanyantsi from getting behind. Naum Todorovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzonyo Vúrbenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Miroslav Karapanov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rostislav Túnkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pencho Súlev having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trayan Sitarski to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Stanyantsi booed when CSKA Zhelud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzonyo Vúrbenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dragomir Kotevski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Naum Todorovski 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Rostislav Túnkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pencho Súlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Stanyantsi's zone, Dragomir Kotevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naum Todorovski came out of the goal and Dragomir Kotevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naum Todorovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragomir Kotevski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes FC Stanyantsi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dimo Mitushev who took care of the corner kick. Dragomir Kotevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Naum Todorovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Tzeno Teofilov took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Naum Todorovski to make any attempt to save it. Trayan Sitarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pencho Súlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pencho Súlev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trayan Sitarski went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CSKA Zhelud had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
