In the 5th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Rey having to interfere. The supporters of Bolivia booed when El Kiwy Mecanico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. 杜烨川 didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Fontirroig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Hermelando Rey made a huge save. In the 19th minute of the match Bolivia got a corner. El Kiwy Mecanico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Fernandino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mario Fernandino made a great header on Bolivia's corner, it was just that El Kiwy Mecanico's Hermelando Rey managed to reach the ball for a save. Alfredo Ferrant hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes El Kiwy Mecanico got a freekick which was hit by 杜烨川. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hermelando Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, El Kiwy Mecanico's goalkeeper Hermelando Rey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Fontirroig. In the 36th minute Julio Chicote shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Julio Chicote cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hermelando Rey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermelando Rey came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz. But to his dismay, Alfonso de la Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of El Kiwy Mecanico booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso de la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Alfredo Vuelta to make the kick off. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Alfredo Vuelta in the 54th minute of the match. Juan-Alfredo Vuelta hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Fontirroig during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Lazaro Clos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Kiwy Mecanico's protests and gave Lazaro Clos a yellow card for diving instead. Lazaro Clos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Rey having to interfere. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Fernandino in the 77th minute of play forced El Kiwy Mecanico's goalkeeper Hermelando Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso de la Cruz was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Juan-Alfredo Vuelta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bolivia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
