Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Danail Mustakov started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Velizar Titev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vancho Duparinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Velizar Titev notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Ruschuk's Vancho Duparinov. Vancho Duparinov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danail Mustakov in the 8th minute of play forced FC Ruschuk's goalkeeper Vancho Duparinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zahari Pisanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Temelko Manushev went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Temelko Manushev could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Zahari Pisanov however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ruschuk's zone, Velizar Titev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vancho Duparinov came out of the goal and Velizar Titev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Ivo Radushev put in a rough tackle. 21 minutes into the game, one of Ruskovtsu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Zahari Pisanov, was totally fooled by FC Ruschuk's Elenko Karaenev, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Zahari Pisanov made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Bobi Garvalov sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Ruschuk booed when Ruskovtsu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arhangel Maynolovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruskovtsu's goalkeeper Zahari Pisanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Temelko Manushev in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 41 minutes into the match, Ruskovtsu's goal looked a bit too open when Vanko Kukushev came free, but Zahari Pisanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arhangel Maynolovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vancho Duparinov having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Danail Mustakov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ruschuk's Vancho Duparinov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viktor Gerchev charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Gerchev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes FC Ruschuk got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Gerchev. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vanko Kukushev to strike the kick off in the second half. Danail Mustakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vancho Duparinov having to interfere. When Danail Mustakov fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruskovtsu's protests and gave Danail Mustakov a yellow card for diving instead. Mihail Roshkev's late challenge caught a Ruskovtsu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihail Roshkev helped the player get up and apologised. Mihail Roshkev kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ruskovtsu's Zahari Pisanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Temelko Manushev in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Bobi Garvalov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ruschuk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruskovtsu the free kick. 66 minutes into the match, FC Ruschuk's goalkeeper Vancho Duparinov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danail Mustakov. Danail Mustakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vancho Duparinov having to interfere. Orlin Parpulov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vancho Duparinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zahari Pisanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobi Garvalov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Temelko Manushev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ruschuk's supporters rose to their feet, but Temelko Manushev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zahari Pisanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Ruschuk's Vancho Duparinov got control of the ball when Danail Mustakov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Orlin Parpulov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruskovtsu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlin Parpulov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danail Mustakov scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vancho Duparinov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
