The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tervel Ribolovski in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Doncho Shtúrkov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Tervel Ribolovski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Doncho Shtúrkov to make any attempt to save it. 10 minutes into the match, Tervel Ribolovski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Doncho Shtúrkov, 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Velichko Búnev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Doncho Shtúrkov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tervel Ribolovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Doncho Shtúrkov made a huge save. 22 minutes into the game, Preslav Hadzhililov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Godetch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC East Star the free kick. Doncho Shtúrkov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tervel Ribolovski's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Doncho Shtúrkov was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Milcho Petkov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Milcho Petkov really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. If Tervel Ribolovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, FC East Star's Tervel Ribolovski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doncho Shtúrkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The FC East Star fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when FC East Star's Tervel Ribolovski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35thth minute of the game Tervel Ribolovski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Godetch's Doncho Shtúrkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 37 minutes on the clock, Venko Kishkilov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of FC East Star:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Godetch:s goal. The referee gave Godetch a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Georgi Dargov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC East Star's Stoyne Borimechkov. 5-1. Velichko Búnev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Doncho Shtúrkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Velichko Búnev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godetch's Doncho Shtúrkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velichko Búnev in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Godetch's goalkeeper Doncho Shtúrkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Goran Sakarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC East Star's supporters rose to their feet, but Goran Sakarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doncho Shtúrkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Velichko Búnev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doncho Shtúrkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Parvan Harabaliev notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Godetch's Doncho Shtúrkov. Doncho Shtúrkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the game, FC East Star's Velichko Búnev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doncho Shtúrkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. FC East Star's Velichko Búnev got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Viden Arahangelov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC East Star fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. In the 76th minute, Parvan Harabaliev made a precise shot to the right of Doncho Shtúrkov. Godetch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. Velichko Búnev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Godetch defense, Velichko Búnev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doncho Shtúrkov. The Godetch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doncho Shtúrkov should have stopped the shot. When Parvan Harabaliev came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FC East Star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Parvan Harabaliev couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Godetch's zone, Velichko Búnev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doncho Shtúrkov came out of the goal and Velichko Búnev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Viden Arahangelov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-1. Doncho Shtúrkov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC East Star's Velichko Búnev got a free kick in the 95th minute. With a little luck, FC East Star's Stoyne Borimechkov got control of the ball when Naycho Delkov tried to sneak it across the goal line.
