The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gancho Gerov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. A collision led to FC Koriete getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tenyo Enkov hit a great ball. Dinko Mishev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Totyo Dzhunakov having to interfere. Bone Budevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Momchil Zaprev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Momchil Zaprev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bone Budevski in the 25th minute of the match. Geikchiler's Metodi Beloev got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, FC Koriete's Bone Budevski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Momchil Zaprev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dinko Mishev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bone Budevski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Geikchiler got a freekick which was hit by Tzanyo Dimov. Tenyo Enkov struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Momchil Zaprev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Koriete. In the 61st match minute, Geikchiler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neno Dereliev to maneuver through the defense. Temelko Dikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Momchil Zaprev having to interfere. With a little luck, Geikchiler's Momchil Zaprev got control of the ball when Temelko Dikov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Temelko Dikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Koriete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Temelko Dikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Koriete's Totyo Dzhunakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metodi Beloev in the 75th minute of play. Dinko Mishev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Totyo Dzhunakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mladen Bekyarov during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
