Kostadin Vlasovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stiliyan Mihaylovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragomir Rakadzhiev scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Mechev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Dimcho Dakovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dragomir Rakadzhiev got free with Valentin Mechev in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dragomir Rakadzhiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Mechev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Kostadin Vlasovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mincho Golemanov in the 36th minute of the match. Stiliyan Mihaylovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostadin Vlasovski having to interfere. FC Babjak's Kostadin Vlasovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mincho Golemanov in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mincho Golemanov to strike the kick off in the second half. When Dimcho Dakovski came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Babjak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimcho Dakovski couldn't finish the play. Mincho Golemanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kostadin Vlasovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Babjak booed when CSKA Lagoshevtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vihar Papadopov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dimcho Dakovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Babjak's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimcho Dakovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Mechev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dragomir Rakadzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Lagoshevtsi's zone, Dimcho Dakovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Mechev came out of the goal and Dimcho Dakovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stiliyan Mihaylovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mincho Golemanov struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kostadin Vlasovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Lagoshevtsi. CSKA Lagoshevtsi's Mincho Golemanov got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
