The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Denko Gervazov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vrbica getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lyubomir Svrakov hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vrbica's zone, Denko Gervazov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhivko Maykov came out of the goal and Denko Gervazov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denko Gervazov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhivko Maykov having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Vrbica's goal looked a bit too open when Denko Gervazov came free, but Zhivko Maykov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Robben Montens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The MANCHESTER UNITED fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when MANCHESTER UNITED's Klement Harasimowicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blasi Gabas in the 12th minute of play forced Vrbica's goalkeeper Zhivko Maykov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Blasi Gabas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vrbica's Zhivko Maykov. Zhivko Maykov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MANCHESTER UNITED's Anton Lalchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Kalkovski in the 18th minute of play. Denko Gervazov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute, Robben Montens made a precise shot to the right of Zhivko Maykov. Vrbica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 33 minutes of play, MANCHESTER UNITED's Klement Harasimowicz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhivko Maykov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blasi Gabas might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zhivko Maykov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blasi Gabas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Denko Gervazov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Klement Harasimowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhivko Maykov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhivko Maykov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denko Gervazov in the 41st minute of play. Klement Harasimowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zhivko Maykov came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by MANCHESTER UNITED's Klement Harasimowicz. But to his dismay, Klement Harasimowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Denko Gervazov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zhivko Maykov having to make a save. The Vrbica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MANCHESTER UNITED were winning 0-5.

Vrbica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Denko Gervazov scored to the left of an out of position Zhivko Maykov, making the score, 0-6. The audience was convinced that Klement Harasimowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhivko Maykov was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Jonathon Triplett scored 0-7 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhivko Maykov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Denko Gervazov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Vrbica's Zhivko Maykov got control of the ball when Klement Harasimowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Klement Harasimowicz lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Zhivko Maykov. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klement Harasimowicz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhivko Maykov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Denko Gervazov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Denko Gervazov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Zhivko Maykov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klement Harasimowicz didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-9 via right post in the game's 71st minute. MANCHESTER UNITED's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 78 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER UNITED's Klement Harasimowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zhivko Maykov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 崔希瑜 struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Zhivko Maykov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MANCHESTER UNITED. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Blasi Gabas managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANCHESTER UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Blasi Gabas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zhivko Maykov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhivko Maykov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robben Montens in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over MANCHESTER UNITED could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vrbica throughout the match.
