Denko Karemov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filippo Cappucci came out and tried to block the shot, but Denko Karemov slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 24th minute. Filippo Cappucci was a little too slow when Penko Doshkov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 4-0. After some careless play in the Chelsea FC defense, Denislav Radunov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filippo Cappucci. The Chelsea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filippo Cappucci should have stopped the shot. Penko Doshkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Cappucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, CSKA - Fiesto's Penko Doshkov made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Cappucci was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Penko Doshkov to make the kick off.
