Vali Pescaru hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tinko Yashov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Pescaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Severino Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panayot Mihnev kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Plovdiv City's Vladko Vulev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivaylo Yaninski. That made the score 1-0 after 42 minutes of play. Severino Loyola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivaylo Yaninski came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Loyola slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Loyola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Plovdiv City's Severino Loyola got a free kick in the 51st minute. Tinko Yashov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 刘永亦 in the 52nd minute of the match. Strashilishte borovest's Ivaylo Yaninski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Loyola in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Plovdiv City's Tinko Yashov got control of the ball when Vali Pescaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Strashilishte borovest's Tinko Yashov threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 刘永亦, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 96 played minutes FC Plovdiv City got a freekick which was hit by Velizar Tarinski. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Vali Pescaru got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC Plovdiv City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
