Kakhi Zabelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaja Zabelin in the 19th minute of play. The corner led to Jicote FC's Giorgi Milakiev getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Whittlesey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takha Andrzheevskiy to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes, Vaja Zabelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jicote FC and the Whittlesey players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vaja Zabelin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jicote FC's goalkeeper Sachino Torotadze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Takha Cholokaev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jicote FC and the Whittlesey players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Jicote FC got a freekick which was hit by Giorgi Milakiev. After recieving a nice pass, Whittlesey's Arsen Levidze tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sachino Torotadze made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bukhuti Bitsadze sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Whittlesey booed when Jicote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgi Milakiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bukhuti Bitsadze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sachino Torotadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shoshita Babadishev , who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Lukhum Bitsadze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kakhi Zabelin having to make a save. Sachino Torotadze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shoshita Babadishev , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shoshita Babadishev was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Whittlesey's goal looked a bit too open when Vaja Zabelin came free, but Kakhi Zabelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukhum Bitsadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kakhi Zabelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaja Zabelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Whittlesey getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Okhoropir Tsitsishvili hit a great ball. Vaja Zabelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bukhuti Bitsadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Shoshita Babadishev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bukhuti Bitsadze took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sachino Torotadze. Sachino Torotadze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Jicote FC's Giorgi Milakiev got a free kick in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samir Khatiashvili during the 87th minute.
