After having played for 11 minutes, Bukhuti Urushadze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finsbury Park United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bukhuti Urushadze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caterham Valley's zone, Bukhuti Urushadze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khristesia Pawletko came out of the goal and Bukhuti Urushadze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bukhuti Urushadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Khristesia Pawletko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merab Goraniskov in the 25th minute of play forced Finsbury Park United's goalkeeper Djoto Urushadze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Merab Goraniskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 minutes, Samir Anghelache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Finsbury Park United and the Caterham Valley players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Samir Anghelache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bukhuti Urushadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Khristesia Pawletko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Finsbury Park United's Anatoly Gabelia got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Merab Goraniskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djoto Urushadze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shoshita Khatiashvili during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Finsbury Park United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shoshita Khatiashvili to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anatoly Gabelia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Caterham Valley got a freekick which was hit by Jarji Dzotsenidze . Merab Goraniskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djoto Urushadze having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Finsbury Park United's goalkeeper Djoto Urushadze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Merab Goraniskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Djoto Urushadze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Merab Goraniskov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finsbury Park United's Djoto Urushadze was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Finsbury Park United's Bukhuti Urushadze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Khristesia Pawletko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anatoly Gabelia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merab Goraniskov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Djoto Urushadze firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Akim Dzotsenidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Uta Andrzheevskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caterham Valley's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 88th minute of the game, when Jaba Gogava after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Finsbury Park United's goal. Jaba Gogava was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Akim Dzotsenidze took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Djoto Urushadze to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Finsbury Park United's Djoto Urushadze got control of the ball when Merab Goraniskov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Caterham Valley supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caterham Valley would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
