Khvicha Abesadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukhum Cholokaev, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Westhoughton's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgi Jandieri came free, but Jondo Topnikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saltburn-by-the-sea eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
