Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dato Pawletko started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Thurlaston's goalkeeper Eldar Tsitsishvili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrey Aragvsky. Thurlaston's Eldar Tsitsishvili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gia Pozharskiy in the 6th minute of play. Khobuli Londaridze kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Gia Pozharskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eldar Tsitsishvili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dato Pawletko in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Machaidze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Harrogate FC's Dato Kikalishvili got a free kick in the 14th minute. Dato Kikalishvili hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Mirian Burduli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Thurlaston got a freekick which was hit by Mirian Burduli. In the 34th minute, Aydin Robakidze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thurlaston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 37 minutes, Dato Kikalishvili mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harrogate FC and the Thurlaston players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the game's 38th minute Thurlaston's Roman Cholokaev took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Roman Machaidze and thus the score was 0-2. Thurlaston's Dato Pawletko got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 50th minute, Nodari Paghava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Machaidze made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Aydin Robakidze sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Harrogate FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Imeda Gabelia hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Thurlaston's Roman Cholokaev tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Roman Machaidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dato Pawletko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Harrogate FC's Roman Machaidze got control of the ball when Aydin Robakidze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thurlaston's Eldar Tsitsishvili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Aragvsky in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gia Pozharskiy in the 66th minute of play forced Thurlaston's goalkeeper Eldar Tsitsishvili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gia Pozharskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eldar Tsitsishvili having to interfere. Eldar Tsitsishvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Aragvsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrey Aragvsky in the 77th minute of play forced Thurlaston's goalkeeper Eldar Tsitsishvili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Thurlaston's goal looked a bit too open when Gia Pozharskiy came free, but Eldar Tsitsishvili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Harrogate FC's Roland Sulaberidze broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Thurlaston eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
