Valeri Pozharskiy hit a great ball. Gogita Torotadze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charilaos Mouzakis in the 17th minute of play. Marske-by-the-Sea's Vaja Sulakvidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khudji Jandieri in the 19th minute of play. Merab Paghava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogita Torotadze having to interfere. If Zviadi Neparidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaja Sulakvidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zviadi Neparidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

A collision led to Brierley Hill getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Valeri Pozharskiy hit a great ball. Khristesia Sordia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vaja Sulakvidze having to make a save. Khudji Jandieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vaja Sulakvidze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Khudji Jandieri ran back to his position shaking his head. Bondo Salia charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bondo Salia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bondo Salia kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brierley Hill's zone, Charilaos Mouzakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogita Torotadze came out of the goal and Charilaos Mouzakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Merab Paghava got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Marske-by-the-Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bondo Salia to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Charilaos Mouzakis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Brierley Hill's Gogita Torotadze. Gogita Torotadze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Marske-by-the-Sea getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gogita Torotadze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Khudji Jandieri struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Vaja Sulakvidze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brierley Hill. In the 96th minute of the match, Zviadi Neparidze tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vaja Sulakvidze saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
