Vano Bitsadze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Andrzheevskiy in the 4th minute of play. Torgva Dzotsenidze hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Vladimir Gogava hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Valiko Andrzheevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsen Robakidze, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Mormont's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amiran Nad in the 25th minute. In the 28th match minute, East Cowes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bondo Mamporia to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Mormont's Valiko Andrzheevskiy threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arsen Robakidze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 34 minutes into the match, East Cowes's goal looked a bit too open when Arsen Robakidze came free, but Valiko Andrzheevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsen Robakidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiko Andrzheevskiy having to interfere. Pavel Andrzheevskiy hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Vano Bitsadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sachino Londaridze, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Mormont booed when East Cowes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrey Andrzheevskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arsen Robakidze struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Valiko Andrzheevskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mormont. After 53 played minutes Mormont got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Gogava. Sachino Londaridze took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vano Bitsadze. Vano Bitsadze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vladimir Burduli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Valiko Andrzheevskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrey Andrzheevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Mormont got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Gogava. After having played for 77 minutes, Arsen Robakidze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mormont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsen Robakidze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrey Andrzheevskiy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Vano Bitsadze when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Mormont's Arsen Robakidze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valiko Andrzheevskiy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Bondo Mamporia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
