In the 5th minute of the match Rasim Xudadlı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mübariz Äşräfov skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natiq Bäyazov in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mübariz Äşräfov saved ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪ from getting behind. Mäcid Äsädullayev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahib Nağiyev having to interfere. Äli Omarov struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Mübariz Äşräfov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abşeron. Natiq Bäyazovs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Mübariz Äşräfov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Äli Omarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natiq Bäyazov in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mübariz Äşräfov saved ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪ from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Natiq Bäyazov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mübariz Äşräfov was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 37th match minute, ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mäcid Äsädullayev to maneuver through the defense. Äli Omarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mübariz Äşräfov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Natiq Bäyazov in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪'s Mübariz Äşräfov got control of the ball when Äli Omarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natiq Bäyazov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mübariz Äşräfov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natiq Bäyazov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Veysäl Amanov fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪'s protests and gave Veysäl Amanov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veysäl Amanov to maneuver through the defense. Mübariz Äşräfov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natiq Bäyazov, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Äli Omarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Sabir Älibalalı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abşeron and the ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪ booed when Abşeron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabir Älibalalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Älixan Ağamurtuzov managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☪♛✌ Ali Zeynal -1918- ✌♛☪'s supporters rose to their feet, but Älixan Ağamurtuzov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rahib Nağiyev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mübariz Äşräfov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Äli Omarov's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Mübariz Äşräfov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natiq Bäyazov, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Natiq Bäyazov scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mübariz Äşräfov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Älixan Ağamurtuzov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rahib Nağiyev made a huge save. Äli Omarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mübariz Äşräfov having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Abşeron players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
