After 14 played minutes Qax AŞ got a freekick which was hit by Misir Alcanov. Mürsäl Aslanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mehdi Albändäyev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The penalty shot was made by Sahil Ömärov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Qax AŞ's Mehdi Albändäyev. 1-2. Färhad Äkbärov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Äliqulu Ulusoy in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute Mürsäl Aslanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehdi Albändäyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Äliqulu Ulusoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Färhad Äkbärov having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mürsäl Aslanov to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sädräddin Asmanov in the 54th minute of play forced Ordubad Dinamo's goalkeeper Färhad Äkbärov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Färhad Äkbärov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sädräddin Asmanov in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Qax AŞ's Äliqulu Ulusoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Äliqulu Ulusoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Färhad Äkbärov having to make a save. 1-5 became the score in the 81st minute when Sädräddin Asmanov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seyidäli Balakişiyev during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Qax AŞ's Sädräddin Asmanov got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Misir Alcanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Färhad Äkbärov having to make a save. When the match was over Qax AŞ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ordubad Dinamo throughout the match.
