Niyazi Yolçiyev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Elmir Väliyev made a huge save. A collision led to Xırdalan Birliyi getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rämzi Zeynälzadä hit a great ball. Näsib Utanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Räsul Eyvazov went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arzuman Abdurähmanov to make the kick off. Elmir Väliyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arzuman Abdurähmanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ramiz Babakişiyev charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiz Babakişiyev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
