Qäbälä Dinamo's Faiq Cälilov got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Arzuman Abdurähmanov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niyazi Azamämmädov, 1-0. When Rämzi Zeynälzadä fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xırdalan Birliyi's protests and gave Rämzi Zeynälzadä a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Xırdalan Birliyi's Rämzi Zeynälzadä got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Xırdalan Birliyi's zone, Faiq Cälilov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Näsib Utanov came out of the goal and Faiq Cälilov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niyazi Yolçiyev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niyazi Azamämmädov having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Zülfüqar Isayev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qäbälä Dinamo's supporters rose to their feet, but Zülfüqar Isayev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Näsib Utanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faiq Cälilov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiz Babakişiyev struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Niyazi Azamämmädov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xırdalan Birliyi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiz Babakişiyev during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ramiz Babakişiyev hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Ramiz Babakişiyev kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Näsib Utanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zülfüqar Isayev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Faiq Cälilov came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Qäbälä Dinamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faiq Cälilov couldn't finish the play. Zülfüqar Isayev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Qäbälä Dinamo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eldäniz Alxasov hit a great ball. Qäbälä Dinamo's Niyazi Azamämmädov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arzuman Abdurähmanov in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Zülfüqar Isayev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Näsib Utanov. Xırdalan Birliyi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zülfüqar Isayev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 72nd minute Niyazi Yolçiyev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niyazi Azamämmädov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hümmät Älişov hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Niyazi Azamämmädov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arzuman Abdurähmanov in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niyazi Yolçiyev in the 82nd minute of play forced Qäbälä Dinamo's goalkeeper Niyazi Azamämmädov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Näsib Utanov managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Qäbälä Dinamo's Zülfüqar Isayev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 95 minutes into the match, Xırdalan Birliyi's goalkeeper Näsib Utanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zülfüqar Isayev. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Qäbälä Dinamo's goalkeeper Niyazi Azamämmädov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
