Qurban Abdiyev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mahmud Färruxov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Ziyanur Yaqubov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Yasin Eyvazov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mahmud Färruxov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adil Talıblı. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Qurban Abdiyev to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Bähräm Alesrefov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Biläcäri PFC and the Sabirabad Birliyi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bähräm Alesrefov kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Biläcäri PFC's goalkeeper Mahmud Färruxov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mahmud Färruxov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qurban Abdiyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yusif Mirzäyev came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Biläcäri PFC's Xaliq Cälalov. But to his dismay, Xaliq Cälalov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Sabirabad Birliyi fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Sabirabad Birliyi's Ziyanur Yaqubov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qurban Abdiyev in the 64th minute of play forced Biläcäri PFC's goalkeeper Mahmud Färruxov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Qurban Abdiyev came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sabirabad Birliyi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qurban Abdiyev couldn't finish the play. If Qurban Abdiyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziyanur Yaqubov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mahmud Färruxov having to make a save. In the 77th minute, Qurban Abdiyev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feyruz Ağamirov struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Yusif Mirzäyev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biläcäri PFC. 85 minutes into the game, Feyruz Ağamirov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biläcäri PFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabirabad Birliyi the free kick. A collision led to Biläcäri PFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Feyruz Ağamirov hit a great ball. Qurban Abdiyev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Ziyanur Yaqubov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahmud Färruxov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabirabad Birliyi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
