One couldn't see Bähmäz Adişirinov behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. If Hacı Paşayev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Şirvan SFC's Cabbar Mayilov got control of the ball when Hätäm Qährämanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Akif Älibalalı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fäxräddin Cavadov having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Hacı Paşayev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hacı Paşayev in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fäxräddin Cavadov saved Xocalı from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Xocalı's Bähmäz Adişirinov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
