Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isgändär Albändayev in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Knyaz Haciyev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Mürsäl Yunisov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cümşüd Väliyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cümşüd Väliyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mürsäl Yunisov in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Nabran getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Äväz Häsänov hit a great ball. Elbrus Bayramov's late challenge caught a Nabran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elbrus Bayramov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nabran booed when Qarabag FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elbrus Bayramov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Roman Şärifov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nabran fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cümşüd Väliyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Şärifov, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Eynulla Xudadverdiyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Qarabag FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Näsib Ibrahimov to maneuver through the defense. Isgändär Albändayev took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Knyaz Haciyev. Knyaz Haciyev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Knyaz Haciyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eynulla Xudadverdiyev, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Şärifov made a kick off. Cümşüd Väliyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Şärifov in the 51st minute of the match. Cümşüd Väliyev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Şärifov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nabran's goalkeeper Knyaz Haciyev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eynulla Xudadverdiyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Nabran's goal looked a bit too open when Eynulla Xudadverdiyev came free, but Knyaz Haciyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eynulla Xudadverdiyev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Knyaz Haciyev having to make a save. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Qarabag FK's goalkeeper Cümşüd Väliyev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mürsäl Yunisov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cümşüd Väliyev made a huge save. In the 84th minute Isgändär Albändayev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knyaz Haciyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Eynulla Xudadverdiyev notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Nabran's Knyaz Haciyev. Knyaz Haciyev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mürsäl Yunisov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Cümşüd Väliyev made a huge save. Cümşüd Väliyev made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mürsäl Yunisov sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Qarabag FK's Eynulla Xudadverdiyev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Knyaz Haciyev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Qarabag FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
