Saatxan Elxanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nabat Qämbärov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nabat Qämbärov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saatxan Elxanov in the 8th minute of the match. Qılman Ağamirzadä blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nabat Qämbärov having to make a save. Nabat Qämbärov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qılman Ağamirzadä, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Ordubad ANS's goalkeeper Tağı Axundov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bäliyar Eminov. Länkäran Yaqubov kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Qılman Ağamirzadä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nabat Qämbärov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ordubad ANS's Tağı Axundov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeh Alahyarov in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Babäk IK's zone, Qılman Ağamirzadä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nabat Qämbärov came out of the goal and Qılman Ağamirzadä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nabat Qämbärov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qılman Ağamirzadä in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valeh Alahyarov was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ordubad ANS's Qılman Ağamirzadä ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nabat Qämbärov. Nabat Qämbärov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. If Qılman Ağamirzadä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saatxan Elxanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabat Qämbärov having to interfere. The Ordubad ANS fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Ordubad ANS's Qılman Ağamirzadä looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. During the 72nd minute of the match Länkäran Yaqubov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Länkäran Yaqubov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a little luck, Babäk IK's Nabat Qämbärov got control of the ball when Saatxan Elxanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Salman Mahmudov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Qılman Ağamirzadä's late challenge caught a Babäk IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Qılman Ağamirzadä helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Babäk IK booed when Ordubad ANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qılman Ağamirzadä didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Salman Mahmudov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teymur Ağacanov came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ordubad ANS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teymur Ağacanov couldn't finish the play. The Babäk IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ordubad ANS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
