Cümşüd Känanov might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Näsräddin Qämbärov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cümşüd Känanov ran back to his position shaking his head. Cümşüd Känanov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Näsräddin Qämbärov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 27 played minutes Şeki AŞ got a freekick which was hit by Älämcah Äkbärov. The supporters of Ağcäbädi Dinamo booed when Şeki AŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Musa Väliyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Şeki AŞ's zone, Tanriverdi Älibäyli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xalid Alimov came out of the goal and Tanriverdi Älibäyli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanriverdi Älibäyli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maarif Abdulrähmanov to strike the kick off in the second half. Tanriverdi Älibäyli struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Xalid Alimov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ağcäbädi Dinamo. When Yavär Sadiqov came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ağcäbädi Dinamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavär Sadiqov couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Niyaz Omarov made a precise shot to the right of Näsräddin Qämbärov. Ağcäbädi Dinamo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ömär Bäylärov kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ağcäbädi Dinamo's Näsräddin Qämbärov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cümşüd Känanov in the 77th minute of play. Xalid Alimov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarif Abdulrähmanov in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Şeki AŞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ömär Bäylärov to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Şeki AŞ's Xalid Alimov got control of the ball when Tanriverdi Älibäyli tried to sneak it across the goal line.
