Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fariz Yusubov started the match with the kick off. If Fariz Yusubov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ömär Bäylärov kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Närimanov IK's Ağcabädi Cavanşirov got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Niyaz Omarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talib Ocaqverdiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Närimanov IK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cuma Sadiqov hit a great ball. Cümşüd Känanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Talib Ocaqverdiyev having to make a save. Cümşüd Känanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talib Ocaqverdiyev having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Niyaz Omarov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Talib Ocaqverdiyev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cümşüd Känanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Niyaz Omarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talib Ocaqverdiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Närimanov IK got a freekick which was hit by Cuma Sadiqov. After having played for 28 minutes, Cuma Sadiqov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Närimanov IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cuma Sadiqov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Älämcah Äkbärov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Närimanov IK's zone, Cümşüd Känanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Talib Ocaqverdiyev came out of the goal and Cümşüd Känanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mäcid Gözälov during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Närimanov IK got a freekick which was hit by Mäcid Gözälov. Niyaz Omarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Närimanov IK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cuma Sadiqov hit a great ball. Şeki AŞ's Niyaz Omarov got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fariz Yusubov in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xalid Alimov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fariz Yusubov in the 54th minute of play forced Şeki AŞ's goalkeeper Xalid Alimov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Niyaz Omarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niyaz Omarov spun around in front of the goal 60 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Närimanov IK's goal. Ağcabädi Cavanşirov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Xalid Alimov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Fariz Yusubov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalid Alimov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fariz Yusubov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vüsal Mayilov in the 74th minute of play forced Şeki AŞ's goalkeeper Xalid Alimov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Niyaz Omarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute, Närimanov IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cümşüd Känanov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Niyaz Omarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Närimanov IK's goalkeeper Talib Ocaqverdiyev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Närimanov IK booed when Şeki AŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömär Bäylärov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Älämcah Äkbärov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Älämcah Äkbärov's late challenge caught a Närimanov IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Älämcah Äkbärov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Älämcah Äkbärov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes of play Şeki AŞ's Älämcah Äkbärov was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Şeki AŞ played a much better game than Närimanov IK and deserved their victory. The Närimanov IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
