Räşad Albändäyev started the match with the kick off. Ziyanur Baliyev hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Räşad Albändäyev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Räşad Albändäyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zamiq Ağamirov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Äkbär Malişov having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Räşad Albändäyev in the 13th minute of play forced Dağlı qäsäbäsi's goalkeeper Äkbär Malişov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Dağlı qäsäbäsi's goal looked a bit too open when Räşad Albändäyev came free, but Äkbär Malişov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zamiq Ağamirov might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Äkbär Malişov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zamiq Ağamirov ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Räşad Albändäyev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Äkbär Malişov was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, Dağlı qäsäbäsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Täväkkül Muradov to maneuver through the defense. Färid Akubäyov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Duman Adiyev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duman Adiyev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Färid Akubäyov in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Ağdärä's goal looked a bit too open when Elman Muxtarov came free, but Duman Adiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Färid Akubäyov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Duman Adiyev made a huge save. Rubaul Aläkbärov kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Räşad Albändäyev might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Äkbär Malişov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Räşad Albändäyev ran back to his position shaking his head. Täväkkül Muradov hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Ağdärä's Zamiq Ağamirov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Äkbär Malişov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 45 played minutes Dağlı qäsäbäsi got a freekick which was hit by Täväkkül Muradov. After the first half Ağdärä were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elman Muxtarov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Elman Muxtarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Adiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Färid Akubäyov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Duman Adiyev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rubaul Aläkbärov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Täväkkül Muradov fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dağlı qäsäbäsi's protests and gave Täväkkül Muradov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dağlı qäsäbäsi getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Täväkkül Muradov hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Äfran Abdulazamov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dağlı qäsäbäsi's Äkbär Malişov didn't even have to move. If Räşad Albändäyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Färid Akubäyov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dağlı qäsäbäsi's supporters rose to their feet, but Färid Akubäyov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duman Adiyev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elman Muxtarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Dağlı qäsäbäsi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ağdärä were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
