After a rather tough play, Hacıqabul MKT's Tapdiq Piriyev got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Oğuz PFC's goalkeeper Eyvaz Alesrefov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mövsüm Zülfüqarov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mövsüm Zülfüqarov got free with Eyvaz Alesrefov in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Äliqara Elxanov hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Namaz Abdulxälilov charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Namaz Abdulxälilov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eyvaz Alesrefov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salman Abdulhäşimov in the 15th minute of play. Ikram Behbudov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Inqilab Äliyev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Namaz Abdulxälilov hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Ikram Behbudov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inqilab Äliyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göyüş Aydinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Tapdiq Piriyev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hacıqabul MKT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oğuz PFC the free kick. Tapdiq Piriyev kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Göyüş Aydinov hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Hacıqabul MKT's Inqilab Äliyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ikram Behbudov in the 36th minute of play. Mädät Ziyadov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Ikram Behbudov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hacıqabul MKT's Nahid Xudabalı got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ikram Behbudov was the one to do the kick off. Mövsüm Zülfüqarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Salman Abdulhäşimov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hacıqabul MKT's Salman Abdulhäşimov got a free kick in the 58th minute. Göyüş Aydinov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inqilab Äliyev having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Oğuz PFC's Inqilab Äliyev threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ikram Behbudov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 75th minute, Tapdiq Piriyev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oğuz PFC's Äbülfät Atayev couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hacıqabul MKT. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mädät Ziyadov during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Äbülfät Atayev from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Inqilab Äliyev's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 81 minutes, Ikram Behbudov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oğuz PFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ikram Behbudov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mövsüm Zülfüqarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eyvaz Alesrefov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Ikram Behbudov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Hacıqabul MKT's goalkeeper Inqilab Äliyev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göyüş Aydinov.
