Hacıqabul MKT's Inqilab Äliyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsü Ağasiyev in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüsü Ağasiyev in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inqilab Äliyev saved Hacıqabul MKT from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hüsü Ağasiyev in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inqilab Äliyev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salman Abdulhäşimov scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arzuman Alesrefov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Hüsü Ağasiyev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inqilab Äliyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arzuman Alesrefov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salman Abdulhäşimov in the 18th minute of play. Elbrus Cälalov kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Räfqan Abdulhäşimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Mövsüm Zülfüqarov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arzuman Alesrefov was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Sahib Häbibov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mövsüm Zülfüqarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arzuman Alesrefov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Räfqan Abdulhäşimov came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Inqilab Äliyev could save by the left post. 46 minutes into the match, Hacıqabul MKT's goalkeeper Inqilab Äliyev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Räfqan Abdulhäşimov. The supporters of Stepanakert PFC booed when Hacıqabul MKT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mädät Ziyadov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ädalät Äbdilov hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hüsü Ağasiyev was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Hüsü Ağasiyev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stepanakert PFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some careless play in the Hacıqabul MKT defense, Hüsü Ağasiyev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inqilab Äliyev. The Hacıqabul MKT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inqilab Äliyev should have stopped the shot. Inqilab Äliyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Räfqan Abdulhäşimov in the 84th minute of the match. Inqilab Äliyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsü Ağasiyev in the 85th minute of play. Stepanakert PFC's Räfqan Abdulhäşimov got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Stepanakert PFC booed when Hacıqabul MKT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mädät Ziyadov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inqilab Äliyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsü Ağasiyev in the 88th minute of the match. Hüsü Ağasiyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Inqilab Äliyev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inqilab Äliyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsü Ağasiyev in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stepanakert PFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hacıqabul MKT had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
