Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Şahin Ağankäri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Zengezur's Şahin Ağankäri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feruz Abbasäliyev. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Brimar Theódórsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bent Raison in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Ağam Tähmäzov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brimar Theódórsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 12th play minute Şahin Ağankäri came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Feruz Abbasäliyev. 2-1. 15 minutes into the match, Qarabag CF's goal looked a bit too open when Tofiq Zülfüqarov came free, but Feruz Abbasäliyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Anísio da Costa put in a rough tackle. Feruz Abbasäliyev made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Qaryağdı Älibalalı sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Şahin Ağankäri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feruz Abbasäliyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Toğrul Haqverdiyev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feruz Abbasäliyev. Toğrul Haqverdiyev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haydar İsmet in the 34th minute of play forced Qarabag CF's goalkeeper Feruz Abbasäliyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Zengezur's Tofiq Zülfüqarov made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feruz Abbasäliyev was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute of the match, Tofiq Zülfüqarov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Feruz Abbasäliyev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Zengezur getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tofiq Zülfüqarov hit a great ball. Eşqin Ağacanov, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bent Raison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zengezur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eşqin Ağacanov was slow to take the kick. During this time Qarabag CF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Qarabag CF's corner Eşqin Ağacanov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brimar Theódórsson quite easily take care of the ball. Zengezur's Brimar Theódórsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Zengezur from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haydar İsmet in the 61st minute of play forced Qarabag CF's goalkeeper Feruz Abbasäliyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Zengezur got a corner. Qarabag CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qaryağdı Älibalalı ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şahin Ağankäri in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feruz Abbasäliyev saved Qarabag CF from getting behind. 71 minutes into the game, Zengezur's Qärib Äşräfov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feruz Abbasäliyev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. In the 76th minute of the match Rövşän Äliyev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feruz Abbasäliyev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Qarabag CF's goal looked a bit too open when Xalid Xudadverdiyev came free, but Feruz Abbasäliyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Zengezur's Qärib Äşräfov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feruz Abbasäliyev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Tofiq Zülfüqarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feruz Abbasäliyev having to interfere. Qarabag CF's Feruz Abbasäliyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qärib Äşräfov in the 85th minute of play. If Ağam Tähmäzov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bent Raison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qarabag CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bent Raison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brimar Theódórsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feruz Abbasäliyev came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Zengezur's Haydar İsmet. But to his dismay, Haydar İsmet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. Häsän Zülfüqarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brimar Theódórsson having to interfere. Zengezur were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Qarabag CF for a fine match.
